Founded in 2007, Tri-Lakes Conservation is a group of residents and cottage owners committed to maintaining and improving the environment in and around the area of Spring Lake, Robinson Lake and Brinklow Lake (south of Bancroft).
We meet twice each year, at the end of May after cottages have opened up and in September/October before cottages are closed for the winter. At our meetings we discuss a topics relating to the lakes and surrounding area as well as items of general interest to the membership.
We aim to have a guest speaker at each meeting, and often representatives from the local council attend to update members on planned activity in the local area.
Membership is $20 per year for each household or cottage and is usually collected at the Spring meeting as of 2020.
Membership dues are used to cover the costs of administering the Tri-Lakes Conservation activities and also in support of local charities and causes.
Local causes which we have recently supported include,
Coe Hill Fishing Derby
Kawartha Lakes Turtle Trauma Centre
Quinte Health Care - North Hastings
North Hastings Community Fish Hatchery
